Orleans County is home to more than 26,000 Vermonters. Tribal officials and historians estimate that Abenakis, other Native Americans, and their descendants account for 5-10% of those citizens. While our focus is on ensuring the economic and cultural strength of the Abenaki, we believe every family and citizen of Orleans County may benefit from the educational, socio-economic, awareness, and outreach endeavors of AHA's Cultural & Outreach Center.
